Even though I’m a mom, not a dad, the episode on mental fitness interviewing Colin Thompson gave me a lot of great takeaways. A few of my favorites: When working at home, establish clear boundaries between work/parenting, this will allow you to be fully present for both. It’s ok to take a little time to decompress in the bathroom/basement/walking when transitioning from work mode to parent mode. I like the five unrelated questions that host Michael inserts at the end of the interview. Michael is a very good interviewer and makes it an enjoyable listen.
