Enjoyed!!
I enjoyed the latest episode, great work on your podcast, Michael!
Great podcast
What a great podcast for dads. Michael is a wonderful host. I listened to a few episodes so far and I'm really enjoying it!
small steps that actually work
i liked how practical this episode was, especially the focus on making real progress in just ten minutes a day. it felt realistic for people juggling work and family, not some huge overhaul that burns you out. i walked away with a couple simple ideas i can actually use, which is rare and appreciated.
Creative Work Without the Chaos
I loved the episode with Jon Merlin on building creative work without sacrificing creative time. It’s honest, practical, and cuts through the hustle-culture noise. As someone who works with students and early-career professionals, I see this struggle constantly and this conversation tackles it head-on. If you’re trying to build something meaningful without burning out your creativity, this one’s worth a listen.
Smart topics
Creative show, smart topics and good guests! Keep it up!
Good Podcast for Busy Dads
Gap to Gig provides a diverse set of topics for dads who are looking to navigate careers, family, and life. I have enjoyed listening to this podcast. I wish some of the episodes were shorter, but that’s a personal preference. Keep up the great work.
Building a Legacy at Work and at Home
Many of us men ask ourselves how we can strike a balance between our careers/business and our families. How can we be good fathers and still have plenty of time for our families? This podcast provides answers. Answers from fathers who talk about their strategies.
Much needed podcast!
I love the concept of this podcast and how it helps dads be great at work and at home! I feel like there aren't many things aimed at helping dads excel in both worlds. Such important and helpful conversations!
Love that this show helps dad find the balance between work and family
I'm not a dad, but I listened to this show because I wanted to see what messages dads are sharing with other dads. I loved that the host really focuses on is balance in every day life- self, relationships, family, work - all the things that have been "appropriate" messages for moms, but you don't hear that a lot for dads. Its an important message for all people to hear, but especially parents!
“Diary of a CEO,” but for Dads
This is a fantastic podcast. It’s like Diary of a CEO, but for dads. The host asks thoughtful questions and grounds each conversation in real-life dad context. He mixes between the tactical and the deeper philosophical effortlessly. This is truly a meaningful podcast that anyone will grow from by listening and applying. What I love most is that you can tell the host genuinely loves talking with dads and helping them thrive. To be transparent, I’m not a dad. But listening has given me fresh empathy for my own father; he sacrificed a lot for us and worked from home long before it was more common. I’m grateful this show exists, and even as a non-dad, I truly enjoy it.
