Listener Reviews

Much needed podcast!
I love the concept of this podcast and how it helps dads be great at work and at home! I feel like there aren't many things aimed at helping dads excel in both worlds. Such important and helpful conversations!
Love that this show helps dad find the balance between work and family
I'm not a dad, but I listened to this show because I wanted to see what messages dads are sharing with other dads. I loved that the host really focuses on is balance in every day life- self, relationships, family, work - all the things that have been "appropriate" messages for moms, but you don't hear that a lot for dads. Its an important message for all people to hear, but especially parents!
“Diary of a CEO,” but for Dads
This is a fantastic podcast. It’s like Diary of a CEO, but for dads. The host asks thoughtful questions and grounds each conversation in real-life dad context. He mixes between the tactical and the deeper philosophical effortlessly. This is truly a meaningful podcast that anyone will grow from by listening and applying. What I love most is that you can tell the host genuinely loves talking with dads and helping them thrive. To be transparent, I’m not a dad. But listening has given me fresh empathy for my own father; he sacrificed a lot for us and worked from home long before it was more common. I’m grateful this show exists, and even as a non-dad, I truly enjoy it.

The conversations are honest, practical, and refreshingly free of hustle culture, focusing instead on purpose, balance, and real-life decisions.A great listen for anyone rethinking what meaningful work and success actually look like.
Loaded with Great Ideas!
What an outstanding podcast! Michael is an excellent host in that he finds diverse guests and manages to mine gems of advice for fathers in their personal and professional development. A wonderful podcast, and I look forward to getting the weekly newsletter!
Michael is the real deal
There are so many podcasts out there aimed at becoming famous, or notching more attention points. Gap To Gig is on a mission to impact. There's a major difference. If you're looking for unique perspective on what it means to be dad AND try to figure life out, this is the show to listen to (or watch on YT). It requires you to think and to respond, even if it's brutally honest, and THAT'S the type of creative production that is needed in this world.
